[ssf] on a rumour and short-sight

Watch how the IDcard idea is being sold throught the general
election campaign, to protect the country's borders, as a tool against
immigration. Loads of racist and rightwingers will second it, as you can
imagine.
And good people doing nothing will second it through unawareness.
What is more, no mention at all of such "Freedom Association" among
no2id supporters. It sounds to me as a malignant rumour.

What is more, i am disappointed: turning one's back on a good campaign,
because of the name of a small group being rumoured to participate in
it? and what about the idea itself? We are always playing their game:
empowering organizations, not
individuals, not persons, never persons, and the "people" is made of
ordinary persons.
The same with scapegoats.
So we end up talking about organizations, not about the need to do
something. (in this case at least).
Shielding behind prejudices not to get an in-depth knowledge of the
issue at hand.

Now, if out of the list, you pick up one name and say boooo I won't help
you because they are racists... i should answer and you are even worse,
because what is racist is the ID card system together with all other
bills being applied to stop immigration first and control everyone btw.
And what you are doing by not
doing is supporting the racists. So stop rambling against the BNP
because you share those anti-immigration views and therefore you are not
so different from them.
