This is from Oxfam...

Dear Supporter

LIVES DEVASTATED BY EARTHQUAKE AND FLOODS
-------------------------------------------------------
Firstly, if you have family and friends who have been
affected by this terrible disaster please accept Oxfam’s
sympathies. The appalling effects of this catastrophe
are being felt worldwide.

By now, we know millions of people have had their lives
devastated. The poorest people have been hit hardest.
Losing everything. We are acting fast to deal with the
aftermath of the crisis and need your help.

OXFAM IS THERE
-------------------------------------------------------
Oxfam is working with some of the poorest communities in
the region to rebuild shattered lives. We will continue
to send planeloads of supplies, but food, water and
shelter are all urgently needed. Without a rapid
response, we have grave concerns that those who survived
the flooding may easily fall victim to waterborne diseases.
This is why we focus so much of our attention on cleaning
up polluted water sources and providing sanitation. We
will continue this support - and more - for as long as it
is needed. But we need your help.

PLEASE HELP BY MAKING A DONATION, TODAY.
-------------------------------------------------------
Extraordinary numbers of people have given generously
already - if you have done so, many thanks. If you
haven’t had the time to give yet, please make a donation
now to help people throughout Asia who have nothing left.

Thank you for your support.
