I don't often send circular e-mails, but this is worth a minute if you are not very happy about the idea of compulsory ID cards. A chap called Phil Booth has started a pledge that he will refuse to sign up for an ID card and will pay £10 to a legal defence fund, if 10,000 other people do the same.
