Ben major,
That was a fantastic post, and it's really made my day. When ISYF sent out the proposal for a general meeting of social justice activists (it's now open, and we're looking at moving the date for it to the 28th of June - please contact me if you fancy coming along - please fancy coming along!), that was the idea, more or less, that was driving us - to create a constant mobilisation, non-hierarchical but efficient, with all the urgency, carnival atmosphere, imagination and impact of a summit mobilisation, but happening constantly in Sheffield - we wanted to bring everyone together for a consultation on action for the future, and workshops, fora, teach-ins, broadening the use of local independent media and the permanent use of the Convergence Space were featuring pretty large in our informal discussions.

I think the meeting on the 28th would be an important step in creating a permanently active and more focussed movement in Sheffield - so do get in touch about it.
Edward
