*At this workshop participants will be learning how to sew their own cloth
reusable menstrual pads, with a waterproof nylon layer, removable flannel
lining, and wings. Using reusable cloth pads saves money, is healthier,
more comfortable, better for the environment, as well as being fun and
empowering! They can also be easily altered to fit your body! The pads will
be sewn using sewing machines, but requires only minimal sewing knowledge.
Information regarding menstrual-pad use and care will also be provided.

Materials required (to make 8 pads) :

   - 3 m flannel (6-8oz weight is recommended. Choose fun, colourful
   printed flannel, or choose organic cotton flannel. Darker colours are best
   to avoid stains. Flannel should be machine washed and dried before use)
   - 1/4 m nylon (Nylon should be machine washed and line dried before use)
   - 8 sew-on snaps
   - 1 spool cotton thread
