Suggested donation $5-10

--> November 13 -- Intro To Personalizing Your Gear + WE'RE AT EXPOZINE COME SEE US!
The aim of this workshop is to bring you round to surprising yourself at discovering just how amazingly well you could learn to do something as seemingly complicated and intimidating as a sewing project, and the way to do this is to have total fun by making something with your imagination that you would never find anywhere, and don't worry if you haven't a clear idea to start, the drug that is the Cat & Bones place can help with this too!
Recommended simple projects could be a cheeky little home decor item such like a pair of pillow cases, curtains maybe or a table linen set... or transforming your fave-jeans/T-shirt/hoody into something personal-sensational with patches!
We do have a tiny assortment of interesting fabrics floating around but would suggest that if you have something particular in mind you might want to bring your own for your project.

... and yes, we already have ideas for a second level workshop to follow, ...
It is a non-directional, non-judgmental way of understand others while letting them know that they are being heard. When working in community, communicating with your partner(s) and supporting your friends, active listening can be a crucial skill to cultivate.
