Yo - training days, folks.
Some people have signed up already - but now is the time to make one or other date definite in your diaries!!! (And it would help if you could let me know - to have an idea of numbers.)

PLEASE could you spread the word to those you know who think they want to be involved, but who may not be on the email list.

It should be a REALLY good day - no guarantees but my experience of this kind of thing is that is that it will be an inspiring and empowering development of our confidence in taking action, and of how we can work together to make the world a better place - which will be really valuable for our own development in general, as well as setting us up for Faslane.

Definitive arrangements for times and venues - we've managed to find a place in sheffield for one of them - which felt best for accessibility for sheffield folk.

- Saturday 1st July - 10 - 5 - Endcliffe Methodist Church Hall on Ecclesall Rd - about 200 yards before Hunters Bar - on left hand side going out of town.

- Sunday 9th July - 10.15 - 5.15 - the "Garden workshops" at the Quaker Community, Water Lane, Bamford (sort of on the way to Castleton, in Peak District)
(From Bamford Station - take main road into Bamford village - after 300 yards turn left along Water Lane which goes past the Bamford sports field - community is a big building on the right in about 500 yards. (Kiri - have I got these directions exactly right?) )

(NOTE - the slight cahnge of time to fit Sheffield trains -
(9.33 from Sheffield - arriving Bamford 9.55, and 6.05 from Bamford arriving sheffield 6.33.)
Also as Nick suggests - be great to set up lift shares, etc..
And there are buses - but I don't have times on me.

Other arrangements -
- Bring food to share. (There will be hot-drink-making facilities at both venues.)
- Money - the expenses involved are the travelling expenses of the facilitators, and £60 for hire of Endcliffe Church Hall. We do have the resources to cover this - it's not a worry - but we'll have a "bucket" on the days for contributions.

Anything else that people need to know ???

Bob
