here is the    >>>feedback<<<    compiled from the first AktiviX weekend hosted by our friends in Lancaster on 21st/22nd September 2003. Please use this email list to discuss all things and everything AktiviX.


_good location (makes a refreshing change from London)
_more workshop topics to consider (projects / experiments)
_folly space possibly under-used
_good experience for trainers
_individuals have benefitted from personal gains (ie. something for everyone)
_practical workshops enjoyed by all
_organisers were very positive, welcoming, friendly and respectful
_further intermediate workshops would be welcomed by people at that level of know-how
_very informative
_nice to meet and talk to likeminded people
_good mix of technology and politics
_wiki page
_making websites accessible
_the community-linux training centre
_copyleft
_whale tail cafe
_encompasses the software movement
_learning environment well-suited to newbies & superusers alike
_the community aspect has been strong and people have shared
_there has been input from different backgrounds of people
_social software
_anti micro$oft
_keep aktivix in the north of england
_photo's and videos should go online (if agreed)
_anonymous proxy
_wider participation from other related groups / social circles
_linux for activists
