hi all,

due to FBI stealing indymedia servers from London, the ESF stream went down.
It is now back up on radio.indymedia.org:8000/rampART.m3u

please pass this on and fix any incorrect URLs you find or know about.

the radio will stream throughout the ESF. contributions both live and
recorded are most welcome. get involved.

As for more info... well the situation is quite messy since lots of good
things were hosted on that server: lots of indymedias (uk among them),
some people's personal email addresses, and ALL of the existing BLAG (a
gnu/linux distro born in brixton) documentation and message boards. Nice
job.

As for the globalisation issue, apparently it was because
http://indymedia.org.uk/en/2004/10/298763.html
pictures of undercover swiss police [in italy?], posted on a french
indymedia site (nantes), hosted on a server in the UK. Thanks to some
bilateral agreement the USA FBI can seize the hard drive/s.

It doesn't take too much navigation in the indy sites to get a better
picture anyway...

ana
