[AktiviX-discuss] "open cd"

Hi,

I hope not to be wasting my efforts with what i'm doing: i am 
downloading the zip & exe files of the free software for windows that i 
am using, with the idea of distributing it on a cd for people with not 
so good conectivity as me. I guess it is what sb did a few years ago 
;-)  - thanks for that cd sb -

The additional idea is to include a thorough guide for dummies on how to 
install, and other basic instructions to get started - that is why i am 
only including the software that "i" use and know. And, also, to give a 
contact email adress in case the user needs further help, because users 
lists are not always that great.

Now, it would be even better if instead my personal email adress i could 
put a generic one, so that, if i leave this project, other people, can 
take on that adress and continue to answer questions to users who got th 
cd a few years ago.... This email adress could be an alias so it would 
be easy to redirect to one person, various, or an email list.

For you info: so far i've got firefox, gaim, gimp, Open office, xchat - 
i am plannig to get, and will probably finish in two or three more 
nights, mozilla, filezilla, CDex, audacity, 7zip, irfanview, and videoLan.

 From the top of my head, the email adress could be sth like, 
4starters at aktivix.org...
