Yeah, this is probably my biggest concern about it -- for
example editing the aktivix wiki via http and tor is
probably less secure than not using tor, however using
https and tor is good :-)
The Mozilla / Firefox proxy switcher is handy for setting
up multiple different proxy settings and switching between
then for different tasks:
