I agree, although I am not sure that I fully understand the underlying
technical issues. But if it is based on the concept that all mail
follows anyway, i.e., resending until accepted, then I cannot see how
there should be any problems.

Can someone explain what ana means when she expressed her reservations
about "servers that don't handle it well", since this, seemingly to me,
points to an extra-ordinary mechanism and not just the normal
procedures?????
