Shot in three continents, over the course of four years, i weaves
experiences from throughout the global Indymedia movement, through the
workings of a single node in Argentina. Expanding on the explosive  
prequel
Eye of the Storm, i follows the first year of a small media  
collective in
Buenos Aires, as it struggles amidst assassinations, a collapsing  
economy, a
whirlwind of political upheaval and a growing movement for personal and
collective autonomy.

i the film is a meditation on the relationship between media and  
power as it
is manifested by the world's largest all-volunteer network of media
activists - Indymedia. Organized to autonomously link together  
independent
media makers of all types across hundreds of different cities around the
world, Indymedia gives a "Voice to the voiceless" through cooperative
communication. Now, after five years, this network has become a  
metaphor for
the power of decentralized communication and autonomous action.  
Through it i
sees a strange resonant frequency in thousands of daily struggles  
throughout
the world, and the emergence of a new kind of collective intelligence  
and
counter power - a strange amoeba of contradictions, hope and passion  
at odds
with corporate imperialism.
