FYI
Housmans Bookshop is publishing an annotated bibliography entitled "People
Power & Protest Since 1945: A Bibliography of Nonviolent Action", compiled
by April Carter, Howard Clark and Michael Randle, with a foreword by Paul
Rogers. It is some 200 pages and has 940 itemized references, providing a
guide to recent campaigns and the theory and practice of nonviolent action.
Each section has a short introductory note setting campaigns in context.
The official launch of the book is at Housmans, 5 Caledonian Road, London on
Thursday 23 of this month which will be addressed by the compilers and by
Joanne Sheehan, Chair of War Resisters International. However, the book is
available now from Housmans, normal price £10 including p.&p, and at a
discounted price of £7.50 incl. p & p for members of this list.
