This is one of several feminist workshops being held at the Anarchist Bookfair,
Sat 19th October, 10am-7pm, Queen Mary University of London, Mile End Rd, E1 4NS http://www.anarchistbookfair.org.uk/ for more details.
Also, the Feminist Library will be having a stall at the bookfair, so come by and say hello and stock up on tote bags, badges, out of print feminist classics, etc.
11am Room 326 Women's Studies Without Walls meeting
Women's Studies Without Walls was launched in January 2013 by the Feminist Library because we want to take 'The Personal is Political' seriously in our feminist activism. The gap between academics studying feminist struggle and activists involved in everyday grassroots struggle has grown so wide that we cannot easily talk together, or sometimes, even understand each other. So our meeting is for any self-defining woman wanting to find out more, and join a discussion about developing WSWW, in London and beyond. If there is sufficient interest, we can actually start some grassroots planning during the meeting!
Organised by Women's Studies Without Walls
PLUS Friday 18th October 2013, 6:30-9:30pm: Pre-bookfair AnarchaFeminist Social at the Feminist Library.
The London Anarchist Bookfair will take place on Saturday 19th October 2013 and anarchists from all over the UK and beyond will converge in London for this annual gathering. Join us at the Feminist Library on the evening of Friday 18th from 6:30pm for a pre-bookfair meal. Catch up with old friends and make new ones too, let us know what workshops and meetings you'll be doing (or not, as the case may be!) and what anarchafeminists in your area are up to.
Anarchafeminists of all genders welcome.
The Feminist Library is fully wheelchair accessible.
