Well I have some friends in Wales who say that which opened up politics there was the Welsh Assembly, with Proportional Representation and all that. A English Assembly would be a good start. Stepping stones... But also it feels like all the eggs are being put in one basket, People's Assemblies? To my mind it has to be seen as one of a multiplicity of initiatives. The 'dissensus' I have previously talked of.

On Europe with Greece eventually defaulting on it's debts, crashing out of the Euro, it will be a seismic shift in the European union. Then with the next big structural financial crash in 6/7 years time the pinch will become the Crunch. Maybe then then the zombies will awaken, and we need a diversity of parallel structures in place (dual power) life boats for people to jump across to as the titanic hulk of the industrial-military complex disappears like Atlantis after the vast volcano...

The awakening is fractal. Individuals are awakening, communities and networks are awakening.

There is a need, now, to begin a lexicon, to articulate this awakening, so that the seeds of cultural shift can be sown. Timing is delicate. We have globalised in a fashion which is not sustainable. Our interconnectivity is not yet deep enough nor holistic enough to survive the imminent, rapid depletion of our current power structures, political and energy wise. Translocal dissemination through the inter web must go hand-in-hand with experiments in non-local consciousness. We must learn to trust the 'field' in a quantum fashion. .
