In case u missed from Paul Feldman; 'Assembly at St Paul's decides to stay. Church claims on H&E unfounded. OLSX will appeal to CofE tops. Eviction needs court order. '

Fwd: [politicsandspiritnetwork] occupylsx: Saturday 22nd October: One-Week
 Birthday Celeberation

Anyways,

Here are a few thoughts from me.

   1. I think it is a bad idea to stay, though defying the church would be
great. It wouldn't be productive and empower the police to legitimately
destroy the camp. We should be avoiding physical confrontation, not at all
costs but to a reasonable degree.
   2. No public announcement of a new location until after it has been
   occupied.
   3. The new occupation target should be taken through lots of small
affinity groups, this may be hard to establish but there should be some
   trusted networks in place.
   4. An official "temporary disbanding" may make it more difficult for
police to counter the next action/occupation
   5. Possible locations:
   1. *Paternoster Square*. + Key target, - Heavily guarded and prepared for
      occupation attempts
      2. *Parliament Square*. + Good location, - seems to appeal to
Parliament for answers, been done before... get mixed up with Peace Camp
      crowd
      3. *Trafalgar Square*. + Good location, - tenuous link and will get
      cleared for other events
      4. *Hyde Park*/*Green Park/Buckingham Palace Gardens* or other nearby
public parks, + Open spaces, hard to clear, - tenuous link and private
property argument applies, also hard to determine which part
      5. *Monument/Bank* + Great location, - disrupts city workers, easily
      congested, not much public space...

Guess which one is my favourite?

In solidarity
