FYI - I would like to propose self-organisation of the unemployed / those
on welfare / defenders of the welfare state on the following lines. Anyone
interested in joining me at a convenient time and place to test the waters?

Re http://opinion.berkeley.edu/occupy/

I added the following

Each local assembly will have access to public monies with which to
disburse through democratic processes. This money will replace the present
out of work / benefits system. Everyone will be expected to participate in
their local assembly via a New Deal involving Citizens Income (a universal
benefit, given to all without means testing) and a reduced working week (3
day working week, 3 day weekend and one 'community day' in which everyone
participates in their neighbourhood / township assembly).
