I personally am dead set against showers saunas etc. Too much work. And quite frankly if people can't spend a few days at a festival coping, it's not our job to pander to their vanities.
Yep, there's nothing in James' "ideas" that weren't covered in the original working group chat (no minutes ever produced or email list produced).
Still not sure of numbers as I have no idea who is good, who is strong, who can multi task and who is disciplined and will stay put rather than wonder off.
I note also that now there is no mention of last chance saloon, there is no suggestion of a bar. Isn't that the profit bit? Discuss

Ok then..
Looks like we need a crash brain storm about what we want to happen. James has already done some stirling work looking at an application for Glasto (See below). I reckon we should thrash out what we'd like to do at the BGG using this as a starting point.
Personally I think something like James' bigger idea below- using one big marquee and organising it like one of the neighbourhoods at the camp:
Vegan Kitchen- making lunch and dinner for donations.
Direct Action Training sessions in the afternoon.
Talks/ Discussions based on the different themes of Climate Camp this year after dinner, followed by some films (and maybe music?)
Not sure a sauna is needed though!!
I think a lot of talks/ training sessions will have already been produced for the G20 event, and I'm sure structures will be being re-obtained in preparation for the convergence. And it's obvious that there's plenty of people who would like to volunteer to provide stuff to the space, which could also be a good meeting point for lots of people if you make it friendly enough.
If we create the space I'm sure it'll work fantastically...
What do people think?

I have the BGG form. Am looking at it blankly cos we haven't had any sort of discussion on what Climate Camp is doing on the road.
I have ideas, but I'd hate to impose a benign dictatorship order on a project I know so many want to be involved with.
To start you off - is it a spin off of our pop up camp in the city? Does it operate like a neighbourhood? Is it a marquee with a bar? A forum? A vegan cafe? Are we doing training sessions? Consensus debates? Do we need 10 peeps or 30 peeps? Are we offereing stuff for kids? Older people?
Answers soon as you like. I've spent last coupla days doing family court nonsense. YUCK! I'm off to form mothers for justice. Underpants please...
