[Cc-webedit] 3 Camps?

I think there's a discussion to be had about whether to lead on 3 Summer
Camps - London, Scotland and Wales - which could work with a general climate
movement narrative + concept (and fits with the first postcard), or whether
to use the main CC website to publicise the London camp, go for a financial
crisis/carbon trading/Copenhagen narrative + concept, but redirect people
heavily to the Scotland and Wales camps, probably with at least a button in
the right hand column about each.
I'm pretty inclined to go for the latter as both the other Camps have got
their own websites. But I'm also very keen to get as many people to all
three and if people have heard of us they'll probably come to our website.
And I wouldn't want Scotland and Wales to think that we don't love them. But
does decentralisation mean not being on the front page of the centralised
site?!
I'm copying in networking as this is possibly something that could be
discussed at their meeting, if possible after consulting with
Scotland/Wales. I don't think the networking meeting should be on Tuesday
night personally as lots of people will be at the Glastonbury or London
meetings and it would be good for there to be an opportunity to have people
who are not in London there, eg. Helen, some of
So I'm not sure about putting in or not putting in the Wales and Scotland
gatherings. I think it's a decent gesture to include them while we get our
shit together.
I agree on the Climate Cafe link.
