hiya.

I'll activate the timeline tomorrow and post the direct url for
syndication. It should pop out as an rss feed so should be easy to embed.

As regards other indy content, the current feed on the front page works on
tags so i'm going to manually make sure all relevant material gets the
correct one and jon will add the feed from the new notts site to this so
it's pretty much good to go.

Any interesting video will also pop out as a tagged feed and will appear
in their own flash viewer which is easily transferrale/embedable in
whichever format is needed. When a video gets uploaded to the indy site,
the server then turns it into a flash object, ogg file, torrent for
seeding and keeps the original in whatever format it was uploaded (mp4,
mov, whatever) so there's loads of syndication options that can be done on
the fly or automagically from our end. I'll have my hands on both servers
throughout the day so can coordinate with jon in getting stuff where it
needs to be. Same goes for stuff that appears on the tumblewire from the
mobile publishing page.

Don't panic those who are concerned about branding, hyperactive is being
developed in order to allow easy syndication of our content and this is a
good pressure test of how effective this is. It should also flag up some
really useful avenues as to where development goes next in terms of future
actions and functionality. This means it should seamlessly integrate into
the cc site.

Shame there's not enough time to integrate the live map into hyper but i'm
definately going to look into this after the swoop if people are up for it
and would find it useful?
