Two objections:
One practical: 
How does an image of the site going up give an "end of camp" look?
One process:
On Aug 18th Alistair wrote:
"Major changes include changes to homepage or section page promos,
adding new pages, moving pages around the site. For these changes
please notify the list before you make the change to ensure the group
has a chance to comment and raise any issue"

I thought we agreed on this.

I've edited the front page to give it an "end of camp looking to the
next thing" feel. Comments welcome. I guess in half a week to a week we
should change the imagery a bit to put more of a focus of the GCS.
