Documentation at the camp was really impressive this year, well done to all
involved! It would be great to take what's been learnt and make it work for
the the great climate swoop (GCS), so that people can see exactly what
that's about as well. The creative disruption of currently 'lawful'
activity (i.e. burning coal) needs to be done in a way that challenges
peoples deep rooted preconceptions of what protest is about and so
documentation is really important to this being a success.
On a swoop note it would be really cool if anyone from the web team with
capacity to help get the swoop site up to speed could get in contact.
Currently there are very few people working on it and in the run up to the
event we need to seriously ramp up capacity. David has done an awesome job
getting it all up and running I'm sure he'd appreciate others that are able
to help discuss, plan and update the site so that when things happen fast -
as needed to happen with the site at the start of camp - it's easy to alter
content.
Ali, Jon, Neil, I'm sure you're wiped out after the camp.. and more than
likely still swamped with the main site.. but if you can help out it would
be cool. Alternatively, do you know of anyone from camp that expressed an
interest to get involved?
It would also be great to hear peoples thoughts on how the swoop site and
main site can function together over the weeks running up to the swoop and
during the event itself.
Cheers
Tim
