Sorry, I hadn't forgotten it but I have been busy with other stuff.

Can you ask the process group whether they are actually willing to take
on managing the events on the website, as well as doing the newsletter?
I think if the process group is willing to do it, we should definitely
let them, as there is already a procedure for what stuff does or doesn't
go in the newsletter etc.

Yes, my plan was to remove it and set up a redirect once a proper events
index page is in place.

I plan to look into technical solutions to this by tweaking the search
parameters, but in the mean time maybe we should just remove it.
