Hi All

I have a contact for Uzma - an anti capitalist British Pakistani muslim woman
with an Iraqi husband - spent some time in Iraq recently. Want to apptoach to
do the address at the top of the dayschool. - If shes up for it she can stay at 
mine and will help Jo with the Iraq workshop

Re Chldminders I dont think there was a definative line from that meeting - tho my impression
was that we were generally in favour of the idea. If so 
 - I can book Safi + 1 ( she works at Felix Road and is multulingual) and the space - as you say
in the notes needs support. It would benefit someone to co-ordinate the space - set
up a rota or something to support the childminders.

Also re publicity - we mentioned to try and translate into Somali, Urdu, Gurujanti,
Arabic and Kurdish - via Tom contact

1. Factsheets

Climate change - draft done. Tom to edit/proof.

Sustainable Development - draft done, Tom to finalise & put text on list.
Tim to edit/proof.

IMF/WB/WTO - draft done. Tom to edit/proof, removing weblinks after each
para but adding links at end. Combine into one factsheet.

PFI - draft done. Ollie to finalise & put text on list. Tim to edit/proof.

Africa debt/poverty - Tim to do draft & put on list.

Edited/proofed final versions to go on list. Paul to then dtp in a basic
format, 2 sides A4, that can be photocopied up. Standard format: 'Bristol
Dissent group - introduction to...'; plus Bristol contact details.

Need an image/graphic for each - please provide something photocopyable.
Tif's preferred.

2. Film
John proceeding. Holding an informal meet 16 Feb - info to go on list.

3. Info for Action day, 9 April
Venue visit 21/2/05 @ 1pm. Caterer rep & other interested parties to meet
up at Venue for a look around, see what we need, what can go where etc.
Catering - Kebele (Liz) to do. Need volunteers - chase.
Kids - see what space there is for interactive kids space. Need people to
run it. Each child will need responsible adult with em. Possible need for
a few 'registered' childminder types. Who?
Publicity - posters: Paul to layout, giving basic info on day. To ask Jon
to help with images. Have several different posters. Bring drafts to 22
Feb meet. Need to be photocpyable.
Flyers - maybe go for something glossy. Ideas people?
Ask general meet for a budget for publicity. 100 quid?

Facilitators for opening/closing session - be good to have at least one
woman for both. Ask meeting for volunteers.

Workshops - update below:
Opening session - waiting to hear back from Schnews types, need speaker
from group too, plus maybe other anti-cap local speaker(?) - Tim - John
