[DurhamDivest] Time for some kind of rally??? (was: Re: Fwd: Time for a Global Divestment Mobilisation)

This Friday at noon, there'll be a protest in Newcastle, outside
Barclays Banks on Northumberland street, to show solidarity with the
Standing Rock Sioux. This is because Barclays invest in the Dakota
Access Pipeline which is a threat to the Sioux and to us all.

I'm planning to be there, and if anyone else from Durham can come, I
think it would be a good time to talk about whether we can hold a
rally or something in Durham, hopefully timed to tie in with the
Global Divestment Mobilisation (May 5th-13th)? Maybe thinking about
all the other organisations who need to divest, not just the Uni?
Bring ideas!

Anyhow, I hope to see some of you there, it'd be good to catch up.
