Hi Simon,

Thanks for getting in touch. It's early days for our interaction with
Durham County Council - so far we've focused on encouraging people to
discuss divestment with their councilors and raise it as an issue with
candidates in the forthcoming local elections.

We're hoping that the direction for the campaign will become clearer
when we get sight of the ISS; and of course it will be interesting to
see how that feeds into the election campaigns, if they publish on time.

The other thing that members of Durham Divestment Alliance have been
working on is getting the University here to divest; there's been a
formal consultation and we're waiting for various committees to
process that before they announce a position, hopefully this summer.
