Thats a good point Alison! I totally didn't even think about the fact that
sometimes people have donated books hoping to get them back eventually. I
think we were all just really distracted by getting new books! I agree about
boxing the books up.

I am willing to try the google groups idea or any other host site for an
online calendar, as long as I don't have to monitor it and the paper sign up
sheet is still available and not neglected. I can totally see how the online
calendar could be more convenient for some, but I have a hard time managing
those apps when they have been used in other groups, and I feel like they
can cause a lot of confusion for some. But if there are a lot of people who
feel it would be more convenient for them, then I say go for it. I have just
had better luck with the paper sheet and sending notifications through
Facebook and e-mail myself. I have talked to more first time volunteers
through Facebook than any other means of communication, which is kind of
sad, but it has been working so far.

I am really stoked to have you back in RVA and to work with you again
Alison! I miss you!
