just to say thanks to all who turned up to the demo, support the petition, ask question, applaud my motion and speeches from the gallery (none of my fellow councillors did!) ... I thought Suzie's speech (presenting the petition) was great - really put the council on the spot, referring back to their oppostion to the war and calling for the release of Guantanamo detainnes and showing how inconsistent it was to have G8 ministers in Sheffield. Also very well informed, short and to the point questions.
