According to their web site [1] they do have permission
for the demos in town:

  DEMONSTRATE AT THE G8 JUSTICE & INTERIOR MINISTERS'
  BANQUETS, Wednesday 15th June 2005, ASSEMBLE 6pm,
  Outside the Lyceum Theatre. Thursday 16th June, assemble
  6pm At the Cathedral Tram Stop

I wonder if people will be allowed to march from
