Hi Mike,

Tony from London here. As far as I know from details I have Edinburgh
court dates are:

28th Sept - 2 people up
10th oct - 5 people up
13th Oct - 1 person up
24th Oct - 1 person up

If you need names email me off list.

I also have about 75 names of people who we think are up before
Edinburgh Sheriffs court, but I have no details of dates. Maybe these
cases were dropped during G8, or maybe they are happening and we don't
have details. Again, I could give you names to see if they ring a bell
with anybody?

     July 2005 solidarity group activity and meetings - solidarity with
     people
     arrested during the G8

     All G8 defendants and all interested in supporting G8 defendants are v
     welcome.  Over 200 people are facing charges arising from the G8 demos,
     some of them serious charges.

     For Edinburgh-based folk, we are meeting at ACE, 17 W Montgomery Place
     this Friday 9th at 2.30pm to do a mailout to defendants from july2005
     solidarity, using an updated version of the letter which has previously
     been circulated, the new version incorporates the g8 legal support
     appeal
     for defendants to contact them with details of their arrest.

     If anyone has info on defendants addresses and/or on addresses of the
     lawyers who have g8 defendants, could they please send it to me
     asap, prob
     best done offlist for reasons of confidentiality.

     Next meeting of july 05 solidarity group for edinburgh people  is
     mon 19th
     sept 7.30pm at ACE.

     Had a small meeting yesterday and we think mon 26th sept is fine for
     next
     joint edin-glasgow meeting, we are prepared to come through to
     glasgow, it
     is prob our turn, but youse are v welcome to come to edinburgh, we 
leave
     it up to the glasgow folk to decide the venue, but would be good to
     decide
     soon so we can advertise and get a good turn-out.

     well done to people for court reports on g8 hearings in perth etc, does
     anyone have any info on upcoming court dates for edinburgh?

     ps july 05 group mobile is now operational - 07909 752 627 - this is
     also
     the no to contact in connection with requests for payments from the 
bank
     account - the bank said yesterday that the account should be 
finally set
     up within a couple of days.
