Hiya.
There's been a couple of requests for how best to get up to the grim north, and what to do about arriving on friday etc so sending out some details here.
If you head for either bradford interchange or bradford forster square station someone can meet you there if you're coming by train. If you send a mail to imc-northern-contact at lists.indymedia.org (non public list with only a few people on who are helping sort this out) then we can sort this out easier between us, same for anyone else coming on the friday.
Those coming by road, the easiest way is to come up the m1, then turn onto the m62 towards manchester. A couple of junctions down (26 i think but don't hold me to that :-) is the turn off to the m606 which goes into bradford. Follow it to the end then aim at the centre of bradford (2nd left off the roundabout, down the road with the petrol station on the left of you). At the traffic lights just past morrisons, turn right and this will take you into the centre. Follow signs to the university as it is easier to find somewhere to meet up there than the crazy one way system and random holes where buildings once stood - no really! :-)
By this point hopefully you'll have emailed the address above for more detailed directions to the club/crash space or deciphered a good route from the website. Be aware those who are going straight to the club that it is down a cobbled alley called preston street so it is easy to miss, though there is a big red and black sign on the wall.
Those who really have some serious masochism issues could get a national express coach to bradford interchange.
If people could rsvp to imc-northern-contact at lists.indymedia.org so we can easily get an idea of numbers and who needs crash space, it would be really helpful, unless someone has another idea as how best to do that?
Solidarity
