Hi everyone,

how is that reader going?

I found this on crabgrass: https://we.riseup.net/help/googlesharing

There was talk about including links to further information, so the
above might be useful. It also seemed there were some difficulties as to
making texts short enough for a reader to be able to take in all the
information, and long enough to cover all the important aspects.

It might be interesting to think about additionally having these texts
on an open and public crabgrass group, so people can add links to more
resources, more in depth explanations and tutorials there. That is if
people are interested to keep working on it. Basically this idea comes
from the same thought that inspired the reader: all the information is
out there, but written in a way that is hard for non technical people to
understand and doesn't necessarily respond to the needs of activists or
explain why these things are important for activists.

With crabgrass being one of the places activists hang around online, it
could be a good place for a more extensive resource. Also with having
the forums, it might also allow people to ask questions and get some
advice or request specific tutorials.

Just a thought while drinking coffee, and obviously this would only make
sense if people are interested to continue this work and not all burned
out from working on the reader. What do you think?

cheers,
mara
