Make that 3:2 as I also know that MIR can record IP addresses / user agents and that IMC UK admins use that facility on an almost weekly basis. Those who continue to deny it are either outright liars, ignorant to MIR features and IMC UK administration or simply being dishonest to themselves and others on the basis that the logged data is only held in memory and not automatically saved to permanent storage.

I totally disagree that Mark should be sanctioned for pointing out the truth and think it is reasonably relevant to the proposal being discussed in this thread.
