I did install owncloud once. It took a while to get everything up and
running.  From what I read, it still needs a fair bit of work done on it.

Another possibility could be the software which comes with a
tonidoplug. To be honest, I haven't tested it but the plug really is a
nice little computer which can run quietly just about anywhere.
