We at software.coop have been using and supplying SOGo
(http://www.sogo.nu)  for a while now.   (Our client asked for a
Google alternative)  It has DAV and ical and a nice scheduler and
(with an additional app) can sync nicely with phone and desktop

Another option to consider is Owncloud, which works well for us too.
