Hi all

I was thinking today about how we could get more people aware of TTFA
& Hacktionlab.

Perhaps a link to https://techtoolsforactivism.org/booklet could be
included in the welcome email when users sign up for Network23 &
Activix services?

I was also thinking i'd be up for creating a list of emails for
activist groups, then sending them a cold/spam message saying
something along the lines of:

Hi we are http://hacktionlab.org/

We wrote this cool booklet you might find useful:
https://techtoolsforactivism.org/booklet

We also run occasional gatherings for XYZ

To keep up to date with our work join our low volune announcement
list: https://lists.aktivix.org/mailman/listinfo/hacktionlab-announce

Or follow us on Twitter?:

Thanks

Hacktionlab

I was also thinking we could set up a (evil, corporate) Twitter account?

In the profile we could have links to:
http://hacktionlab.org/
& www.bethemedia.org.uk

We could grab the RSS from www.bethemedia.org.uk

Feed the RSS through (evil, corporate) www.dlvr.it to automatically
add #hastags & auto post to twitter

We additionally Auto-tweet every couple of days to advertise TTFA.

If we followed a bunch of activist groups to start with the account
would slowly grow and drive traffic without any work.

If anyone did feel inspired to tweet/ retweet/ favorite / follow etc
we could set up a (evil, corporate) grouptweet.com account.

We could then also grab the RSS from Twitter and feed it into a
status.net instance/ identi.ca, so people can read it there if they
prefer.

Thoughts?

Cheers

Sam
