They plan to database and open-source the genome of as many plants as
possible, most:

"Open publication of genetic sequence data, invalidating genetic patents by
providing prior art"

The project is crowd sourced and has already raised more than it's initial
aim of $3000, how effective it will be remains to be seen. Bring on
Monsanto vs Urbsly in the court room!
