[HacktionLab] g8 Stuff

Hello good folks,

We had a visit in Cambridge last week from two lovely people organising 
stuff around the G8 in June. Their plan is to have convergence spaces 
and invite as many groups as possible to come and set up their stuff, 
run workshops, etc. This will be happening during the week directly 
after Barncamp, before the actual G8, with the intention that we can get 
our messages out and do our thing before they have their photo op. They 
were talking about the idea that, while counter-mobilisations are now 
being talked about as old hat, it represents a concrete opportunity to 
bring a bunch of fellow travellers new and old together for a week, and 
a chance to show that we're not dead!

Sam and I will be at Barncamp doing some cooking and demonstrating and 
having fun! We're then planning on heading down to London to help with 
the convergence spaces and whatever else is going on. This is our idea 
of a summer holiday. :-) If anyone is up for joining us the week after 
Barncamp and running some technical stuff down there, we could look at 
coordinating transport and hanging out while down there.
