Fair enough, although I don't think it's that high traffic.

I think for this reason I'm going to do another email out to those who
have come previously just to let them know the event is taking place. 
It's pretty useless having a list that no one reads and then using it to
announce stuff.

sounds great, although is it going to be too techyfor a lot of people?
