Interesting reverse engineering -- but surely you have to have been
identified first, or you can be identified later, so that what this
means is that you can either be re-cognised or identified later on the
basis of the footage, but not actually _identified_?!

At any rate, as the article notes, "stabilisation" measures built in to
cameras degrade the performance of the recognition (a little). In other
words, recogition could probably be made impossible through digital
processing/blurring of the motion, - maybe a camera with add-on
"stabilisation" measures, or filters, could be imagined and you could
add, say, David Cameron's gait to your camera......
