Hi,

Just saw a reply from the hostel. It is available for that weekend. How
do the prices look compared to the other place?

I suppose we could use one of the rooms for a meeting space and not use
the meeting place next door?

Cheers,
John

Hi John,

I can confirm the hostel will be available for you during the dates you
require.

Would you be wanting accommodation or just to use the space during the
daytime?

I can facilitate booking next door (or a part thereof) but you'd end up
talking to Libby Woods, the Centre Administrator, in any case so maybe
give her a call direct... 01422 844450... her hours are 9am - 1pm Mon - Fri

Charges for the hostel are 'per night' but include the intervening
daytimes... and 'normal' access starts at 4pm on the first day and
extends until 1pm on the last day... we can extend these hours for a
small additional charge...

Closed-season nights cost £450 Friday and Saturday, £350 Sunday to
Thursday...

You call me direct on 07786 987 376 for a chat about this or any other
questions you might have.

A few more details below and then more again at

Best wishes,

Dave

To rent the whole hostel we ask for half the fee payable immediately to
confirm booking, the remainder payable at least 6 weeks before arrival

We have 33 beds.
One double room with extra single bed, six 4-bed rooms, one 6-bed bunkroom.
All rooms supplied with bedding and having ensuite shower, toilet and sink.

In all rooms (except the double) two of the beds are on a high mezzanine
with ladder access; these beds are not suitable for under-7's, people
with reduced mobility/agility, those with fear of heights and sleep-walkers.

We have a vegetarian self-catering kitchen. We recommend simple
(organised) self-catering for large groups; or we may be able to provide
catering. There are also plenty of takeaways and restaurants within 10
minutes walk - http://www.hebdenbridgedining.co.uk

In addition to the rental charge, we also ask for a damage deposit of
£250 which is returnable after your stay so long as no damage is done or
extra costs incurred. This is required at the same time as the second
half of the fee.

The usual stay will begin at 4pm, and we ask that you vacate the
bedrooms by 11am and the building by 1pm /on your day of departure/.
During your stay you can access the whole hostel at all times. Extra
hours may be arranged for a small additional fee.

Finally, our car park is free but can occasionally be very busy as we
share it with the next-door auditorium - it is essential that you let us
know what vehicles you will be bringing so we can allocate enough spaces.
