Hi there Mike,

I'm coming Friday probably arriving towards the end of the day
realistically.

This seemed to be what happened for most people last year.

I've just added Ben to the list. He's coming down from Todmorden as well.

We're up for doing an update of the use of FLOSS digital tech at the
Makery. Ben's started doing a lot of repair focused 3D printing, and I'm
continuing to do laptop refurb using various flavours of linux. Also
doing some limited open hardware projects too.

I'm interested to start a discussion of what parts of hacker / coder
culture /tools translate well in to a community setting like the Makery.
Which things hit, which miss - and perhaps why.
I know a lot of people on the list have ongoing experience of this over
the last X years.

I'll put this on the wiki before too long

Mick

ps - It's debian's 30th birthday this year!
