Hi All,

After running HacktionLab in Nottingham this year, we almost broke even
with the account balance before the event being £1,480.89 and after
£1,456.65.

Here's the breakdown of costs for the "Nottingham venture":

It cost us £250 to hire the Sumac Centre and we paid £432.90 for the
catering to Veggies.  In addition we donated an extra £50 to the Sumac,
£20 to the Veggies tea and coffee donations tin, £10 to Ned's for the
overflow space, and then £40 to Ned's chosen charity
(https://junowomensaid.org.uk/pet-foster-project/).

Two folks dropped out and kindly didn't want their money back, so that
includes £90 that didn't have food costs coming out of it. This enabled
us to make the donations above; thanks both :)

For reference HacktionLab's on-going costs are:

- annual account fees at £69.00

- domain registration for £33.58 (network23.org and barncamp.org.uk)

Obviously given the figures this year, if we wanted to continue to break
even but cover our annual costs, then we'd need a few more people to
come or possibly up the charge to £50 or £55.

Over and out!

Mike.
