Hiya,

am proposing feature for frontpage and repression
on the diaz police trials in genoa due to start tomorrow - lots
of supporters due to turn up outside there.

got lots of links and will post feature text later - it should go up
tomorrow morning and then links can be added as reports
come in.

the feeling is that the start of the trial is just like the formality
and that the actual proceedings will be delayed until the end
of the summer....

quite a few uk journos have been out in italy working on the
story - but of course the pope has taken nearly all of them off
to rome and the funeral preparations - but should still be news
featured - bbc guardian etc
