Every one you need to read Barrys email below to get the context of this

 Barry
Tink you should have posted this to the list
it seemed to come only to me

Sounds ok but How would it differ from posting confirmed events on the LAF site ? We could discuss it on the 25th

Have you decided if you want to do your talk
on Art at the Book Fair ?
If so we need a title an an abstract suitable for publication ion the book fair programme
max 5o words I think you need to send to STEVE PROMTO with cc to this list
 see you soon

i ed, i agree the posts always seem to be in a right mess, why don't we consider having an easily-accessible LAF events calendar, a bit like the old http://paganarchy.net/calendar/ which unfortunately doesn't look like it functions anymore...but it was brilliant...maybe we could work co-operatively on our calendar with the person suggesting the talk, book-fest or whatever updating the calendar online?
what do u - and everyone else - think?

YES SOME OF US had individual problems which seem to have been solved
with possibly the exception of Steve. I think its advisable to cc any post to him

I usually put the LAF address in the To Field and everyone else in the cc or bcc fields
the exception is if you click reply all as in this case

My posts do seem to come through now , most of them anyway
In future if i I think there is a\ problem I will check with the archive

Hello Ed and other LAF people,

I have not been responding because I have been away for three weeks,
travelling by bicycle doing free events in towns from Aylesbury to
Exeter, then part of a presence at the Big Green Gathering.

There are no known problems with the list. It is accepting emails
and sending them out to all the members who have working email
addresses. Some messages (mainly from Joy) are rejected by the
mailing list software either because they have too many recipients
or implicit destination (where the To: field does not include the
mailing list address and it only arrives because it is in the Envelope
To:)

It seems to be behaving exactly as expected and any problems
are likely to be down to people's own email setups.

I was not able to participate in LAF events due to all the
time I was building a new mobile 12V system for Bicycology and
planning the tour. Next thing is the climate camp, then I am
away again for a few days, but after that I might be more active.

Ian
