It seems that Yahoo! had a big problem with spam a week or two ago
and implemented a new anti-spam measure which resulted in the LAF
list not being able to deliver email to Yahoo! address. It looks
like they have probably sorted that out now but they might as a
result be back to letting a lot of spam in. You could give it a
couple of weeks to see if it all settles down but if it is still
a problem then you might be better off getting a new email address.

As I have said, of the big name corporate email systems I would
personally go for Google since it seems to be technically the best.
However, there are privacy issues as well as the issue of Google
bowing to pressure and rolling out a censored version of their
search engine in China.

As far as an independent community run system I would would
recommend riseup, although I don't use it personally (I have
my own domain name so I run email through that).
