My (Joy's) response:
On the understanding that I do not condone imprisoning people, what you state is incorrect - that you can have limited freedom for 3 years for looking at people fucking. This will happen not if you look a people fucking but if you hold photographs of people. Since these photos are imported how do you know you do not have photos of abuse? (I am not saying that that is the reason the law has been brought in, I do not know if it is an anti-sex, anti-pleasure, anti-capitalist or anti-violence/anti-abuse motive behind it) I am asking the question, 'how do you know the circumstances in which the photos were made' Since we cannot know if the photos are of abuse, and since we cannot know if the photos are of genuine pleasure (and we are not talking about commodoties here, we are not talking about genuine 100% chemical unlaced with filler, but genuine 100% consensual sex with real people unlaced with violence, desparation, coercion); and since we *can* know that the supply increases according to the demand, I would rather not be party to creating a demand when I cannot know how it will be filled. I don't say that those who watch pornography abuse somebody, I say (and yes I am shouting) HOW CAN YOU TELL?
