I often have doubts about it. What makes it more paradoxical is the fact
that this is open list with open archives. Perhaps the problem lies
there. But i have often been told this is a common policy with
indymedia. Perhaps you could consider changing it.
I understand also (and thought needed some more careful discussion and
consideration) that nowadays telecom operators are required to record
all log ons (this throughout UK and other EU countries) and that any
incitement to "terrorism" may cause a lot of trouble.

So please let's discuss this in some depth, as for unaware persons
like myself
