"Spectator T…doesn't ignore Art he hates it. He feels like it attemptsto interfere with his life." Urban Invasion is a curated exhibition byEric Winnert in response to Gavin Wade's text for ART SHEFFIELD 05:Spectator T. It looks at urban decay and the space it inhabits. Theshow is a direct response to the Matilda building and its location, anold Victorian factory in the heart of a newly developed city centre.

Real Ideal responds to the tension between utopian visions of theworld and the opposing imperfect reality of everyday life. Works havebeen selected with the aim to challenge the viewer to consider notionsof an ideal world in contrast to a darker, more sinister reality.
